  4. Prepare your beds: If you’ve requested linen changes, place clean sheets on each bed.

  5. Arrange payment: If you are paying with cash or a check, please leave them on the kitchen counter before the cleaner arrives.

  6. Provide access: If you won’t be home, ensure we have access instructions, like a lock box code, keypad code, leaving the door unlocked, etc.

  7. Allow a time window: If you’ll be home, please allow a 1-hour arrival window for our team.

Our team comes fully equipped with all the supplies and tools needed to provide a thorough cleaning. If you have any preferences for specific products or equipment, please let our office know before scheduling your service, and kindly provide those items for our cleaners upon arrival.

Prior to arriving, our cleaning professionals review your service details to ensure they understand exactly what areas and tasks are included in your package, along with any previously noted preferences, special instructions, or areas that should or should not be cleaned, so that the service is tailored to your home and expectations.

During the Cleaning

If you are home during your scheduled service, our team will work around your daily routine, so your normal activities can continue uninterrupted.

Upon arrival, the team will conduct a quick walkthrough to confirm that the selected cleaning package aligns with the property’s condition and requirements. They will maintain open communication with our office throughout the service to ensure every detail is covered and standards of quality are met.

If needed, our team may reach out to you during the cleaning to discuss certain surfaces, explain pre-existing conditions, or align expectations on achievable results based on the current state of your home.

We understand that every home is unique, and sometimes extra time and attention are necessary to achieve the best results. In such cases, our office will contact you before the end of the originally scheduled time to explain the reason for any extension and the areas that have been completed. With your approval, the team will continue the service to deliver the highest level of satisfaction possible.

After the Cleaning

Once the cleaning is complete, we encourage you to inspect the property before our team leaves. If any areas included in your package do not meet your expectations, our cleaners will promptly address them.

The following day, your local Mint House Cleaning representative will follow up to ensure your satisfaction with the service. If you’d like to make adjustments to your cleaning plan, your account manager will update your preferences for the next visit.

If, for any reason, the service does not meet your expectations, please notify us within 24 hours. We stand by our service guarantee and will address any oversight, misunderstanding, or unmet requirement from your selected cleaning package as soon as possible.

While we do not charge cancellation or rescheduling fees, a 48-hour notice is appreciated to allow us to serve other clients efficiently.

To prepare for your Mint House Cleaning, just follow these 5 simple steps:

  1. Before your team arrives for your scheduled cleaning please remove clutter so we can effectively clean all surfaces – this includes clothing, kids toys and dishes in the kitchen sink.
  2. Make sure the property has electricity and water.
  3. Find a good spot for your pets so they are safe and comfortable while we clean.
  4. Put out clean sheets on each bed if we will be changing your linens.
  5. If payment has not already been arranged, leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter or if you’re going to be home and meet the cleaners, you can also pay by credit card.
  6. If you are not going to be home, make sure you provided access instructions, key, or code for us.
  7. If you are going to be home please allow a 1-hour window of arrival.

Most customers are either at work or busy with other plans when we clean, so it’s quite common for them to provide us with their garage code or spare key. But if you don’t feel comfortable leaving us a key or door code, please make sure someone is home during the scheduled cleaning time.

If something comes up that causes a conflict in your cleaning schedule, just call your local Mint House Cleaning unit. We appreciate a 48-hour notice, but understand that some situations are just unavoidable. When shorter notice is given, however, we may charge a small fee.

What to Expect During the Cleaning

We only hire caring workers who have the right to work in the United States. All are subjected to a comprehensive background check. Once completed, they are then trained extensively in the Mint House Cleaning method of cleaning.

If you’re home when your cleaning professionals arrive, that’s great. Our team will happily work around you allowing for your normal activities in the home. If you’re not home, our team will dust, vacuum and scrub while you’re out enjoying some free time.

Our crews complete work 7 days a week from, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Along with a smile and an attitude that earns your respect, we arrive with our own cleaning supplies and equipment, ready for your cleaning.

Of course, not all homes are lived in the same way and cleaning thoroughly sometimes means staying a little longer than usual at a home to give it some extra attention. Our teams are trained to do an initial assessment on arrival and let you if we will need more time to get the best possible result.

Payment is requested at the time of the cleaning. Individual offices may have policies that vary, but generally we accept cash, checks or credit cards.

What to Expect After the Cleaning

After the initial visit, your local Mint House Cleaning representative will follow-up asking for your feedback on the service. If you would ever like to have changes made to your service, your account manager will make the adjustments on your account, and those changes will be reflected in your team’s work on their next visit.
