How to Prepare for Your Mint House Cleaning:
To prepare for your Mint House Cleaning, just follow these 5 simple steps:
- Before your team arrives for your scheduled cleaning please remove clutter so we can effectively clean all surfaces – this includes clothing, kids toys and dishes in the kitchen sink.
- Make sure the property has electricity and water.
- Find a good spot for your pets so they are safe and comfortable while we clean.
- Put out clean sheets on each bed if we will be changing your linens.
- If payment has not already been arranged, leave cash or a check on the kitchen counter or if you’re going to be home and meet the cleaners, you can also pay by credit card.
- If you are not going to be home, make sure you provided access instructions, key, or code for us.
- If you are going to be home please allow a 1-hour window of arrival.
Following these simple steps allows us to work efficiently and provide the best clean possible. Our ultimate goal is to provide you with quality service and satisfaction. And while it’s important to declutter your house before we arrive, please do not spend any time cleaning! Leave the work to us.
What to Expect Before the Cleaning
Before your cleaning team arrives, they review the details of your cleaning plan so they know exactly what you hired and all the items that your cleaning package entails. Most customers are either at work or busy with other plans when we clean, so it’s quite common for them to provide us with their garage code or spare key. But if you don’t feel comfortable leaving us a key or door code, please make sure someone is home during the scheduled cleaning time.
If something comes up that causes a conflict in your cleaning schedule, just call your local Mint House Cleaning unit. We appreciate a 48-hour notice, but understand that some situations are just unavoidable. When shorter notice is given, however, we may charge a small fee.
What to Expect During the Cleaning
We only hire caring workers who have the right to work in the United States. All are subjected to a comprehensive background check. Once completed, they are then trained extensively in the Mint House Cleaning method of cleaning.
If you’re home when your cleaning professionals arrive, that’s great. Our team will happily work around you allowing for your normal activities in the home. If you’re not home, our team will dust, vacuum and scrub while you’re out enjoying some free time.
Our crews complete work 7 days a week from, 7 a.m.–7 p.m. Along with a smile and an attitude that earns your respect, we arrive with our own cleaning supplies and equipment, ready for your cleaning.
Of course, not all homes are lived in the same way and cleaning thoroughly sometimes means staying a little longer than usual at a home to give it some extra attention. Our teams are trained to do an initial assessment on arrival and let you if we will need more time to get the best possible result.
Payment is requested at the time of the cleaning. Individual offices may have policies that vary, but generally we accept cash, checks or credit cards.
What to Expect After the Cleaning
After the initial visit, your local Mint House Cleaning representative will follow-up asking for your feedback on the service. If you would ever like to have changes made to your service, your account manager will make the adjustments on your account, and those changes will be reflected in your team’s work on their next visit.
Know that if for any reason we don’t meet your expectations, we will come back and fulfill our guarantee on our work. Just notify us within 24 hours about any issue at all, including any oversight or misunderstanding regarding the specification of your cleaning package.
